I have always been fascinated with Nancy Meyers movies and set designs! I can remember going to the movie theater in my tweens {that wasn't even a word then...I'm getting old} and seeing Father of the Bride. I fell in love! She makes movies that are visually beautiful, classic, wholesome, and funny. A few months ago I had to buy the DVD version of Baby Boom because I only had it on VHS {classic}...my little ones love watching this movie and so do I! Now added to my favorites are Somethings Gotta Give, It's Complicated, and The Holiday...the set designs are out of this world. Here are a few of my favorite pics from her movies...

It's Complicated Kitchen
Something's Gotta Give Bedroom...love it!
It's Complicated Bakery
Its scary how much we have in common...I kinda think we were separated at birth. I own "something's gotta give" and I pretty much watch it JUST to gaze at the interiors. "its complicated" also captivates me when she is making the crossants and her homey kitchen/living room. Sigh...be still my beating heart. (I WILL own a Swedish mora clock one day...I WILL I WILL!!!) :)
ReplyDeleteI love that you know your style SO well that it jumps out at you from movie sets! Wouldn't that be a DREAM job???
