 Hubby and I got new smartphones...you can see who uses them the most :)

 I ordered Beanie new fashion boots from Old Navy...can't beat the $12 price tag.  She has been dressing up cute all week.

 Heather took a few pictures of Jack with our camera...pretty darn sweet huh!?!

Last weekend we enjoyed 4 wonderful days at Mt. Hood {thanks mom and dad!}  We stayed in a beautiful house that was covered in snow...it felt like we were a million miles away from home but in reality only a little over an hour {love that!}  The girls got to experience inner tubing for the first time...they had an absolute blast!  Lucy got in on the action too...

I think Lucy loved inner tubing just as much as the girls :)

Papa is such a good sport...those girls had him carrying their tubes up the hill over and over again...thanks dad!

Mom planned a surprise for my dads birthday...she had Uncle Franny show up on Saturday and stay the night with us.  The girls loved having him there!

We had a great day enjoying the wonderful sunshine!  

It is amazing what a little sunshine can do for your spirit!  

 Daddy and Beanie made a trip to the dump and while they were gone bird and I enjoyed some peanuts alfresco {note to self...kids love peanuts and they take forever to open and eat...worlds best snack! thanks auntie heather for the bag o nuts}

January has come and gone...I can't believe it's February!

We have been busy with school, family, and work...here are a few highlights...aka things we actually have pictures of :)

My oldest nephew turned 4 last week...happy birthday luke...we love you!

We ordered a new couch a few weeks ago and it came in today...very exciting news in the King household!  We ordered it by looking at a picture and a fabric swatch so we were a little worried about how it was going to turn out...thank goodness we love it!  It is a really pretty chocolate/gray color...

 We were lucky to have the boys over for a little date night a couple weeks ago...hubby captured some great pictures of Jack...doesn't he just melt your heart!  I can't get over how beautiful his eyes are!  Auntie Mar loves you Jack!

 Jack is a yaker as you can see by my shirt below...but how can you be mad at a face like that?!? 

We have had a great start to the year...hope you have too!
